Inspired by years of teaching and learning in higher education, a passion to improve student learning experiences, and a desire to positively impact the health and well-being of individuals, families and communities.

The mission of the Nowell Research Lab is to promote innovative education, mentorship, and professional learning and development across higher education contexts and beyond. To do so, we conduct rigorous research, in collaboration with interdisciplinary colleagues around the globe.

Our long-term objectives are to provide rigorous evidence to inform curriculum, education, mentorship, and professional development practices and policies across higher education and professional practice settings.
